Mini Update: February 28th, 2021

The biggest news is that I’m pregnant…5 months pregnant. The baby is due at the very beginning of July. I’m excited but mostly terrified.

I’ve always been very interested in genetics, but my pregnancy has very much intensified that interest. I ordered an ancestry test for my dog, which had surprising and fun results. My dog is very mixed, so no one knew exactly what he was. If anyone is interested, I will happily share my experience with that.

I also ordered 23&Me kits for my husband and me. I just received my results back today and there is so much information. I’m super excited to start working on my baby’s family tree! There’s so much I don’t know!

I’ve been working on developing and improving a self-care tracker in my bullet journal that looks at the 9 areas of self-care. It’s been helpful. I look forward to sharing it in the future.
